VISIT VL ONLINE • A serious black-and-grey facade hides this calm and cleverly built modern home in Melbourne’s Toorak. Blending stone, timber and terrazzo, the house features an incredible curved stairwell and an airy living area facing a verdant courtyard. A sense of bringing the outside in was central to the decoration of the space, which was led by Sisällä’s founding director Lauren Li. Li was inspired by nature’s organic forms and used these elements to craft an interior mix of green and gold shades with layered textures.
